Welcome to Coastal Bloom Learning Studio (the "Site"), operated by Coastal Bloom Learning Studio, a tutoring service incorporated under the laws of Canada. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site, including booking tutoring sessions for children. By using the Site, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
1.1 Acceptance: By using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy [insert link].
1.2 Eligibility: The Site is intended for parents or legal guardians ("you") booking tutoring sessions for children under their care. You must be at least 19 (or the age of majority in your province or territory) to use the Site. If booking for a minor, you represent that you have the legal authority to act on their behalf.

2.1 Service Description: The Site allows you to book tutoring sessions for children with qualified tutors. Session details (e.g., duration, cost, tutor availability) will be provided during the booking process.
2.2 License: We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site to book and manage tutoring sessions, subject to these Terms.

3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process: Sessions are booked through the Site and are subject to tutor availability. Confirmation will be sent via email or through your account.
3.2 Payment: Fees for sessions must be paid in advance via credit card, cash, PayPal. All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes (e.g., GST/HST).
3.3 Cancellations and Refunds: You may cancel a session 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Late cancellations or no-shows may not be refunded, at our discretion.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Ownership: All content on the Site, including lesson materials, logos, and designs (collectively, "Content"), is owned by Coastal Bloom Learning Studio or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright and trademark laws.
4.2 Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, or use Content for purposes beyond personal tutoring sessions without our written consent.
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5.2 Child Safety: You agree to supervise your child’s participation in tutoring sessions and provide accurate information about their needs or limitations.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Your personal information (and that of your child) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy which complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
6.2 By booking sessions, you consent to us collecting and using this information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
7.1 Service Quality: We strive to provide qualified tutors but do not guarantee specific educational outcomes for your child.
7.2 As-Is Basis: The Site is provided "as is" without warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
7.3 Technical Issues: We are not liable for interruptions or delays due to technical failures beyond our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, Coastal Bloom Learning Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of educational progress) arising from your use of the Site or tutoring services.
8.2 Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the session(s) in question.
9. Termination
9.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or services if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or for any reason we deem necessary (e.g., safety concerns).
9.2 You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 We may update these Terms, with changes posted here and effective upon posting. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance.
